Changes, changes...

Changes, they are in the air! Chris and I found out last week that there will be no externship site opening in Klamath Falls this coming year, so we are moving! Where, you may ask? We don't know! And for those of you who know how much I hate change, and hate moving, and hate not having control... you may have some understanding about how scary this is for us! We will know where we are going next Thursday, March 5, where we will participate in a drawing from a hat to find out where we are going to be living for the next year! Our choices are Portland, Salem, Medford, Eugene, Olympia WA, Spokane WA, Richland WA, and Puyallup WA, as well as Sacremento CA, Yuma AZ, and Anchorage Alaska... They are all on the West Coast, but it is so scary to not know where we are going or how far away we will be from our family and friends! We would prefer to stay in Oregon, because it would be easier for me to get a teaching job and closer to our friends and family, but I would be able to survive with just about any of the options except maybe Anchorage! So check back in a week to see where the Figueroa family ends up!

I love February. What a great month - all about love and there are so many things to celebrate! Although I feel like I'm still a little stuck in December - haven't quite found the time to get ALL the Christmas decorations down... I know, I know, tacky, but seriously haven't had a chance. I think one of the best parts of February is that January is over! January is by far my least favorite month... unless it's April. January stinks because it means Christmas is over (my FAVORITE time of year) and April stinks because it's not winter anymore, but not summer either. What to wear? Plus all the rain, and rain equals mud, and I HATE mud in my house!!!

Another great thing about February is President's Day weekend!! Hooray for a four-day weekend! This year, Chris and I left the dogs with a friend and took off for Portland, where my sister and her fiance live, and my parents were going up to visit. Although the trip going up was a little hairy (thank goodness Chris was driving... I get a little anxious driving in the dark and rain!), we made it and had a great time shopping and especially enjoying all the restraunts. I am actually kind of glad we don't have a Cheesecake Factory in our town! I think I would weigh about 5,000 lbs!! But it was great to see family and get out of town and all the stress for a little while. Plus, got to do some baby shopping... bought these at an adorable store called Janie and Jack - cute, classic baby clothes, so hard for me to resist!

Can't wait to have sweet little baby feet to fill those adorable shoes!
Well, since Chris and I with family for Valentine's Day, I'm planning a sweet little evening for the two of us tomorrow night...we really need some recharge time! So, I'm planning on making a nice dinner and dessert and spending the evening in... wink wink!

Just a quick bragging post...

My awesome, talented, stunning, intelligent, and amazing husband has managed to do it once again! Every so often, he is required to do a practical exam to stay in his nuclear medicine program. Chris had a practical yesterday, and got a perfect score!! Yes, you can say it, he rocks. I love my awesome husband and am so proud of him!

I've done it...

Yes, we have joined the blogging madness... since school is finally winding down and things are getting just a little less hectic, I have found myself with some extra time on my hands and have decided to start a blog. I know how much I LOVE reading other people's blogs and catching up with them, so I am hoping maybe one or two people might like to read our blog too! Looking forward to sharing details of our lives with everyone...
