Blueberry Picking!

As you know, I'm obsessed with U-pick farms.  We've done raspberries, peaches, blackberries, apples - but we've never made it to a blueberry farm... until now!

Blueberries might be one of my favorites for u-pick!  They were easy to pick (low to the ground for the kiddos), fast to pick and not ridiculously expensive (peaches are the trickiest - expensive and it's easy to pick a ton!).  We read "Blueberries for Sal" before we went and the boys loved looking for bears to share our blueberry haul.

 There's a reason his basket is so empty... his belly was FULL!!!!

 And Chase kept my basket well-supplied with flowers too!

I wore Isla in the ergo on my back... if I ever wanted to know if she was asleep or not, I'd just hold up a blueberry...

 and her little hand would sneak up and grab it...

 and in it would go!

A lovely day with almost five pounds of blueberries as a reward!
