LOVE books
It's no secret that I simply ADORE to read. I can literally define my childhood by what books I was reading at the time: "Little Women", "Gone With the Wind", "My Side of the Mountain", "Harry Potter"...and hopefully Cole will adore reading just as much (or else the thousands of children's and young adult books I have in our garage will go to waste...)!
What are some of your favorite books? Anything I simply MUST read?

Staying Fat for Sarah Byrnes by Chris Crutcher is very pithy and raw.

If you really want to have a chiller, read almost anything by Ted Dekker.
I love the Earth's Children Series by Jean Auel (Clan of the Cave Bear, Valley of the Horses, Mammoth Hunters, Plains of Passage, Shelters of Stone, and Land of Painted Caves)

If you loved Gone with the Wind - you should read Scarlett (Alexandra Ripley)
oh and if you loved the Other Boylen Girl - you should read The Constant Princess (Phillipa Gregory)
And a book you should definitely read, because one day your son will read it and it will make him cry and it is important for you to know why, Where the Red Fern Grows (Wilson Rawls)
