Chris had to leave earlier this week for another week-long work stint in Medford. I think he was a little sad at leaving Cole, so he wanted to rock him to sleep.
I sure love my boys!

old photos...
I adore this photo. I was hugely pregnant, throwing up every day, and extremely uncomfortable. And Chris leaned over and kissed my belly, snapping a picture with his phone camera.
It makes me remember all the anticipation and excitement of being pregnant. The wonder and amazement.
And we didn't even know how awesome it was going to be!

Gram and Pap
There are very few things I would change about my childhood - but one of those is our proximity to family, especially grandparents. I always regretted not being able to see my grandparents as often as my other cousins could and Chris and I always promised each other we would do the best we could to have grandparents be a big part of our children's lives. So, of course, we are loving having Cole's Gram and Pap come visit for Christmas:

Christmas!
Cole's first Christmas was wonderful - full of joy and excitement and most importantly, family!
Here's hoping your holiday season has been as happy and healthy as ours! With love from our family to yours!
Cole in his Christmas Eve jammies:
Oooo, a present!
Opening presents with Daddy!
Cole mostly got books from Santa (I think Santa must know how much he likes to read!), but he also got this baby safe mirror and LOVED it - he smiles every time he sees that cute baby in the mirror!
Here's hoping your holiday season has been as happy and healthy as ours! With love from our family to yours!
