Today, you are eight months old. I keep thinking that time will start to slow down a little, but it doesn't. Instead, every day you surprise me with something new you have learned to do: splash your legs in the bath (and close your eyes so water doesn't get in them!), bang cups together, babble, (you can even say "Dada"!), hold out your arms for me, and sit up completely on your own.
Everyday I am so excited to spend the day with you, to celebrate every tiny little first of yours. I watch your personality grow and develop, your incredible curiousity, and especially your infectious baby giggle.
My darling boy, your daddy and I love you a little more each day.
