We took a short and sweet day trip to Las Vegas this past weekend. My aunt and uncle were on vacation (all the way from Pennsylvania!) and we couldn't turn down the chance to see them when they were oh-so-close.
It was about a three hour drive to Sin City - the mountains and desert are incredible!
On the Strip, checking out the statue in front of the Mirage:

Lunch at the very entertaining Margaritaville (where Cole decided we needed cooling off by dumping a full glass of ice water all over ourselves...):
Paris! Not quite as cool as the real thing, but still fun:

We saw the lions at MGM - they have real live lions in an enclosure and for some random reason there was a guy in sleeping with the lions!:

And that, my friends, is how you see Vegas in five hours or less!
