Ugly Christmas Sweater Party!

Thanks to Chris' mom, last weekend we had the opportunity to be child-free for a whole evening!  We kicked off the evening with a super fun Ugly Christmas Sweater Party, hosted by our dear friends Sean and Kadance!

Oh yeah...SO ugly!
Chris, Sean, and Adam - these boys kept us laughing the whole time!
 Jerry and Emily:
Markie and Adam - can you believe Markie is due with their little girl any day now?! She's so tiny!
 Our host and hostess:

SO much ugly fun!

Victorian Christmas

This past weekend, we took Cole over to Jacksonville for their annual Victorian Christmas celebration.  It's always so much festive fun - the whole town goes all out to celebrate!

We stopped to see the best Father Christmas in Southern Oregon, but Cole could not even be prevailed upon to look at him!  So, no photos - but it's ok, there's always next year!

However, Cole was beyond thrilled to see the horse-drawn wagon:

You can't tell from his face, but he's super excited.  He just keeps it all inside!

My favorite time of year, made even more fun with my enthusiastic little man!

Clothing Opinionated

One of my favorite parts of this age with Cole is his opinions - particularly with clothing.  My boy is VERY opinionated and makes it so clear what he likes and dislikes.

This day, Cole insisted on the hat:
 And the sock monkey:

 Such a happy boy!

I know clothes don't make the man and all, but it is SO much fun watching my little man be adorable in his clothing choices!

Disney Medley

Um, this is amazing.  How much time do you think this took to record and film??  Some people are so talented!

Christmas Tree Hunting

This is the fourth year we've gone to cut down our own Christmas tree - and I must say, each year just keeps getting more and more fun as Cole grows older!

Even though it was pouring down rain and we were slipping and sliding on the muddy ground, we had a blast!
This is the tree that Cole chose:
 "YITTLE TRWEE!  YITTLE TRWEE PEESE!"
We won't let a little rain stop us!

Cole was SO thrilled that Daddy let him help with the saw!

I'm never more impressed with my husband's and father-in-law's knot tying skills than when they are tying the tree to the top of the car :)
And when we got home, Cole helped set it up!
I feel the Christmas spirit in the air!
