Wildlife Safari

We took advantage of Labor Day weekend to drive to Wildlife Safari in Winston, OR.  I've wanted to go for ages, so it was super exciting to finally make the trip!

The first part is driving around the safari, seeing all the animals:

 This alpaca was nose-to-nose with Cole when we creeped up into this car's spot - Cole loved it!

The playground was a hit - and a nice break for Cole from sitting in the car:

 

 Listening intently to some presentations about various wildlife - I loved hearing about what Cole learned:

 Their train was closed for repairs, so Chris took Cole on a camel ride!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 We took a break in the heat of the day to eat our picnic lunch in the shade:
