No, I'm not talking about Christmas!
It's the second weekend in September, which can only mean one thing...the Jacksonville City Wide Yard Sale!
Now, I'm a die-hard yard saler, but since my little mister arrived on the scene, yard sale-ing is not quite as easy. Fortunately Chris and Papa offered to spend the day with Cole having some quality boy time so Grammy and I could get our yard-sale on!
We've been training for the big day for weeks - marathon sprints (to outrun the other yard-salers), weight-lifting (heavy lifting for all those boxes and bags of goodies), and kick boxing (hey, sometimes those other yard-salers can get violent!).
And the day did not disappoint - we came home with a trunkful of goodies, including:
This play guitar for Cole - only $2 ($20 new!)
Melissa and Doug toys are some of my favorites - we found this set of wooden trucks for only $3, down from $19 new!
We also spotted this xylophone for Cole - $3, instead of new $40!
These Cole Haan shoes were practially brand new! The new price...$178. Our price? $5!
And my personal favorite - Grammy got her Christmas shopping/spoiling taken care of early for Cole with this purchase:
Can't you just picture Cole pedaling around in this beauty?! I can't wait!
How about you? Have you had any awesome yard sale finds this summer?
